Damar Varnish is considered to be the best of the natural picture varnishes. It increases the brilliance of colors and provides moderately high gloss. Damar Varnish protects oil and alkyd paintings by preventing dust and airborne contaminants from adhering. It also responds readily to ordinary solvents used in painting restoration.

For use in painting and glazing mediums. Use with oil and Rectified Turpentine or SignaTurp™.
